How often do you have sales?

Twice a year! We host a Spring Sale and a Fall Sale in two locations—Lewisburg and Williamsport. The Spring Sale is typically in late March or early April, and the Fall Sale happens in late September or early October.

Are the sales seasonal for clothing?

Yes!

• Spring Sale: Spring & summer clothing—shorts, short sleeves, swimwear, and summer holiday themes. No winter gear, holiday outfits, or Halloween items. Long sleeves and jeans are okay if they meet guidelines.

• Fall Sale: Fall & winter clothing—long sleeves, winter gear, and holiday themes. No shorts or short sleeves.

This helps consignors sell items at the right time!

Are the sales indoors?

Yes! Our sales are always indoors, offering a fun, organized shopping experience.

Is there a parking or entrance fee?

• Lewisburg: Free parking. No entrance fee except for early-access shopping on Wednesday.

• Williamsport: Both free and inexpensive paid parking options are available. No entrance fee except for early-access shopping on Wednesday.

What items do you sell?

We offer infant to size 18 clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, books, baby gear, maternity items, and a limited selection of namebrand women’s clothing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit, and debit cards. No checks. Credit card transactions have a $2 fee.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. Yes! We inspect items, but with thousands of pieces, we may miss something—please check items before purchasing. If you need to try something or open something, please see a Common Threads Staff member.

Can I try on clothing?

Yes! Fitting rooms are available. We also recommend measuring your child’s clothing at home and bringing a tape measure.

Do you have a discount day?

Yes! The last day of the sale is 50% Off Day (9 AM – 12 PM). Items marked "Discount: YES" will be half-price.

Where do the items come from?

Local families consign items to earn money. Anyone can register as a consignor, but spots fill up fast! Registration opens months before next sale.

Who can shop at the Presale?

• Team Thread Members & Consignors get early shopping access - free.

• Public presale tickets are available for purchase.

Can I bring my family to the Presale?

Yes! Consignors and Team Thread members may bring their spouse, significant other, and/or children from the same household. However, we recommend shopping solo - it’s full, fun and fabulous. Ticket holders need a ticket for each person attending.

How do I carry my finds while shopping?

We provide IKEA bags and a “Hold” area for large items. Please return IKEA bags at checkout. You’re welcome to bring your own shopping bag, but we discourage large purses, diaper bags, and backpacks. Bags may be checked at the door. We would like to work toward going bag free! Our heartbeat is RECYCLING and elimanting waste!

Do you provide bags at checkout?

Yes, but we encourage bringing your own reusable bags to reduce waste!

Can children attend the sale?

Yes! Kids must stay with their parents at all times. We recommend using a baby carrier due to space, but strollers are allowed. Bags and strollers may be checked at the entrance and exit.

How are items priced?

Sellers set their own prices, so pricing varies. Items start at $2.00.

Do I have to carry large items while I shop?

Nope! We have a holding area for large items.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes!

Can I bring a diaper bag?

Diaper bags, backpacks, and large purses are discouraged. Please leave personal toys, blankets, and similar items in your car to avoid confusion.

What is Half Price Day?

Saturday is Half Price Day! Any item marked "Discount: YES" is 50% off. Many sellers choose to discount their items, but it's up to them.
